Introduction:
This guide explains how to import multiple historic clickthrough contracts into your SpotDraft workspace using a ZIP file. Follow the instructions below for a smooth and successful import.
Steps:
1. Prepare Your Contracts:
-
Ensure all contracts are in PDF format.
-
Each file name should represent the contract title (e.g.,
NDA_with_Acme.pdf
). -
Do not use any folder structure inside the ZIP. The structure must be flat (all files directly in the root of the ZIP).
2. Create the ZIP File:
-
Compress all the PDF files into a single ZIP archive.
-
Ensure the total ZIP file size is under 100 MB (limit enforced for clickthrough bulk import).
3. Submit the ZIP File:
-
Email the ZIP file to our support team at support@spotdraft.com.
-
The team will process and import the contracts into your account.
Important Notes:
-
File Size Limit: The ZIP file must not exceed 100 MB.
-
Flat File Structure Only: Folders inside the ZIP are not supported. All contracts should be placed at the root level.
-
File Naming: Filenames will be used as contract titles.
-
PDF Limit: Each individual PDF should not exceed 30 MB.
FAQ:
Q: What happens if my ZIP file exceeds 100 MB?
A: The system may fail to process the import. We recommend splitting the batch into smaller ZIP files under the 100 MB limit.
Q: Will subfolders in the ZIP work?
A: No, folder hierarchy is not supported. Only a flat list of files is accepted.
Q: Can I use any filename?
A: Yes, but make sure filenames are descriptive, as they will be used as contract titles in your workspace.
