SpotDraft’s Page Widget: View Contract Insights Instantly
The SpotDraft Page Widget is thoughtfully designed to give your Sales team instant visibility into contract progress—right from within their workflow. With a clean and intuitive interface, the widget highlights the most relevant contract information at a glance, while also offering seamless access to deeper insights when needed. It eliminates guesswork by displaying real-time updates as the contract moves through its lifecycle, reducing the need to switch tabs or log into SpotDraft separately.

Contract Overview: Displays high-level information such as contract title, status, reference ID, and counterparty name.

Clicking on any contract element opens a detailed modal view, offering full visibility into the contract’s specifics without needing to leave the current page. -

The Actions button gives quick access to the most commonly used contract functions—helping your Sales team stay efficient and responsive.
What changed?
- 'New' instead of 'New Contract': We’re replacing the 'New Contract' button with 'New' to stay consistent with the patterns we use on SpotDraft.
- 'Reference ID' instead of 'Contract ID': We’re replacing the contract ID with a reference ID to stay consistent with the patterns we use elsewhere.
- 'Pending On' field removed: More granular status information is now shown, making the 'Pending On' field redundant.
- One instead of two contracts: The old design could show two contracts without scroll, but the new layout will only show one. This is a tradeoff that we made to show more information per contract.
- Three-dot menu to 'Actions' button: Actions that you could take on the contract listed under the three-dot menu are now under the 'Actions' button.
- Open in SpotDraft: The option to open the contract on SpotDraft was under the three-dot menu earlier. It can now be achieved by clicking on the arrow next to the contract title. Alternatively, you can click on the contract title to open the full contract details page right on Salesforce.
What's new?
- Counterparty details: Now you can see the counterparty name directly on the widget.
- Last edited on: Now you can see when the contract was last edited on directly on the widget.
- Details of pending approval: You can now see the count of approvals that are pending on the contract. Clicking on it will open up the contract details page with more information.
- Recipient information: You can now see the recipient/signatory information. Clicking on it will open up the contract details page with more information.
- Details of pending reviews (Coming soon): You can now see the count of reviews that are pending on the contract. Clicking on it will open up the contract details page with more information.
