Adding and Managing Business Entities

Add all your business entities that engage in contracts and manage them easily on SpotDraft

 

Here’s how you go about adding/editing business entities on SpotDraft:

 

Step 1:

Navigate to ‘Settings’ on your navbar and open the ‘Organisation’ card.

Step 2:

Open the ‘Entities’ section.

All the existing entities get listed here. Click on the ‘Edit’ button to make any address, name or jurisdiction changes to it.
 

Step 3:

Click on the ‘Add New Entity’ button.

Fill in all the relevant details for it and click on ‘Save’.

You can mark any entity as the primary one, depending on your business needs.

Once you’ve added a new entity, you’ll need to enable it for the required contract types. To do this, follow these simple steps:

 

Step 1:

Navigate to ‘Manage’ and open ’Contract Types’.

 
 

Step 2:

Select the required contract type.

Step 2:

Navigate to the ‘Entities’ section and using the dropdown, select one or all of the entities for this contract type.

These entities will show up in the ‘Entities’ dropdown when creating or uploading a new contract under this type.

💡
If you select ‘All Entities’, any new entities you add to the workspace will automatically get added to the dropdown.
