Improvements to your Contract-Saving Experience on SpotDraft (Closed Beta)

Experience new Save UX when you edit your contracts on Microsoft Word Editor on SpotDraft.

Please note the new experience is currently in Closed Beta and only available to select customers.

Experience new Save UX when you edit your contracts on Microsoft Word Editor on SpotDraft. So, let’s dive in!

What's New?

Auto-save contracts when you close the editor:

Whenever you close out of the editor on SpotDraft, your changes get saved immediately. Plus, the editor's got your back by auto-saving your latest edits every few seconds during your session.

You'll also get a heads-up in the editor the first few times when you kick off a new editing session.

When an edit tab is closed, SpotDraft will auto-save all your changes and notify other users that all the new changes have been saved.

See live edit sessions on the Contract Summary Page: When edit sessions are live, you’ll see a new status pill indicating a live edit session is in progress on the contract summary page.

In-app Prompt if an edit session is ongoing: If you or your teammates are currently editing contracts and attempting any of the actions listed below, an alert will notify you that an edit session is in progress.

Please note that the new prompt will trigger the following actions:

  • Downloading a contract
  • Approving a contract
  • Marking for Execution
  • Uploading a contract version
  • Completing a review
  • Sending contract to counterparty
  • Saving a compared version
