How to Send a Contract for Signature
SpotDraft's e-signature feature makes it easy to send contracts for digital signatures, streamlining your workflow and enhancing security. This guide will walk you through the process of sending a contract for signature within SpotDraft.
Step 1: Upload the Contract
To upload your contract for signature:
Click +New from the dashboard and select Upload for Signature
Select your contract file (supported formats: .doc, .docx, or .pdf)
Note: If SpotDraft detects a possible duplicate contract after upload, you can choose to either Upload as a New Version to the existing contract or Continue as a New Contract.
Step 2: Add Additional Data
Counterparty: Choose the counterparty from the provided list. You can also add a new counterparty by typing their name and email address in the provided field.
Note: Adding new counterparties requires the "Manage Counterparties" permission. Permissions are applied at the team level, not for individual users. If you cannot add new counterparties, contact your admin to enable this permission for your team.
