Configuring your SMTP settings in SpotDraft can significantly improve email delivery and branding. This optional setup allows you to send emails from your company domain, ensuring consistent sender details and better alignment with your organization’s communication style.
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) enables this by connecting SpotDraft to your chosen email server, allowing us to send emails on your behalf.

⚠️ Note: When using a custom SMTP configuration, Delivered and Bounced events will not be tracked for emails sent to counterparties (e.g., Signature Request emails). However, Open and Click events will still be tracked.
