Understanding the Legal Hub
The Legal Hub feature enables you to group related agreement terms and display them on a public webpage. This helps organize your online agreements, making them more accessible and enhancing the user experience for those viewing these agreements.
Example:
Acme Co. has four agreements published via SpotDraft:
- Privacy Policy:
legal.acme.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Terms of Use:
legal.acme.com/legal/terms-of-use
- Advertiser Terms:
legal.acme.com/legal/advertiser-terms
- Cookie Policy:
legal.acme.com/legal/cookie-policy
These four agreements can be organized into two groups using the Legal Hub:
- Acme Privacy Hub
- Privacy Policy:
legal.acme.com/acme-privacy-hub/privacy-policy
- Cookie Policy:
legal.acme.com/acme-privacy-hub/cookie-policy
- Privacy Policy:
- Acme Legal Hub
- Advertiser Terms:
legal.acme.com/acme-legal-hub/advertiser-terms
- Terms of Use:
legal.acme.com/acme-legal-hub/terms-of-use
- Advertiser Terms:
How It Works:
When a user visits legal.acme.com/acme-privacy-hub
, they will find both the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy grouped together on the Acme Privacy Hub page.
Similarly, visiting legal.acme.com/acme-legal-hub
will display both the Advertiser Terms and the Terms of Use on the Acme Legal Hub page.
By grouping related agreements, the Legal Hub makes it easier for users to find and understand your company's legal terms.

Understanding the Default Legal Hub
By default, every workspace comes with a Default Hub that serves as the public home for all your published agreements. This hub is publicly accessible and cannot be customized. All published agreements are automatically linked to this Default Hub, and agreements cannot be removed from it.
Disabling the Default Legal Hub
If you prefer not to use the Default Legal Hub and want only your custom Legal Hubs to be publicly accessible:
- Contact your Customer Success Manager to request that the Default Legal Hub be disabled
- Once disabled, only the Legal Hubs you've explicitly created and configured will remain publicly accessible
- The Default Legal Hub link will redirect visitors to a custom Legal Hub you've selected as the home page
Note: Disabling the Default Legal Hub does not delete any agreements—it simply removes public access to the default hub page. Your agreements remain safe and accessible through your custom Legal Hubs.
