Introduction
Choosing the right rich-text editor is critical for legal teams who demand precise document structuring, reliable formatting preservation, and seamless integration into contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflows. SpotDraft includes two of the most popular WYSIWYG editors—CKEditor 5 and TinyMCE—so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. By default, your SpotDraft Legal Hub or Clickthrough comes with the TinyMCE editor. If you’d like to use the CKEditor instead, please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable it for your workspace. Below is a quick feature comparison chart to help you see at a glance which editor supports the capabilities you require.
Note: While both editors strive to preserve formatting when pasting from Word, 100 % fidelity cannot be guaranteed—complex styles, custom classes, or advanced layouts may still require manual adjustments.
