Here's how you can create sequential approvals for SpotDraft.
Prerequisites - Before we set up conditional approvals on SpotDraft, you should have a ready-made workflow. You can create new workflows or edit existing Workflows from the Workflow Manager.
Add Sequential Approvals to your Contract workflows.
Once you have the prerequisite, follow these steps:
- Head to your Workflow Manager and select the workflow you want to edit.
- On the Workflow Page, click on Approvals.
- Select the appropriate choice from Pre-Send Approvals or Pre-Sign Approval per your requirements.
- Click on Click to set up to start the process.
- Click on + Add Approval.
- Enter the details for your approval. Then save it.
- After being saved for the given workflow, here’s how the approval would look.
- To create a sequential approval, there must be two or more approvals for any contract workflow. So follow the last two steps and add another approval. We have created the 2nd approval, as shown below.
- It should look like this once you’ve created two or more approvals:
- Now, to trigger these approvals sequentially, toggle the Collect Approval Order.
- Once set, you can drag, drop, and adjust the order for all your approvals.
